Suzuki has unveiled the third-generation SX4 crossover, and positions it as a “completely new” model. In fact, a lot of old components are involved here from the predecessor, although there are also enough changes.
Design-wise, the 2022 Suzuki SX4 features a new front fascia with a taller, more massive bonnet. The car received a frameless large-mesh radiator grille and narrow LED headlights with spectacular DRL “eyebrows”.
The wheel arches of the crossover in the new body are underlined by massive plastic lining, and additional windows appeared in the rear pillars. Two-section lanterns are also diode and are visually united by a decorative strip with the brand logo.
These changes made it possible to make the appearance of the model more adult. As for the interior, the door cards, steering wheel and center console are the same.
The front panel is also reminiscent of its predecessor, but the SUV received a modern multimedia system with a 9.0-inch display, located above the central ventilation vents. The system is reported to support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interfaces.
However, the model is still not particularly technologically advanced: it is equipped with a tidy with analog scales and a traditional handbrake. Plus, the mechanism for adjusting the angle of inclination of the rear sofa backs has also been preserved from its predecessor.
