Rent a Car Mercedes EQC in Baku

At a special event in Sweden, the German automaker unveiled its first all-electric production crossover, the Mercedes EQC, with its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Outside, the new model Mercedes EQC resembles the concept of the same name two years ago, but still does not repeat it exactly. The SUV received a wide glossy front panel that combines the head optics and the radiator grille, or rather its image.

Unlike the prototype, the production-ready electric car was equipped with traditional door handles and rear-view mirrors, and the rear lights were made narrower. The shape of the rear lighting here is reminiscent of the new Cayenne.

To improve aerodynamics, the company decided to abandon the installation of roof rails on the Mercedes-Benz EQC, and all wheel options (available with a diameter of 19 to 21 ″) were optimized to reduce aerodynamic drag. It is noteworthy that in the rear bumper of the SUV there is an imitation of exhaust pipes.

In the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz EQC, almost everything is familiar from other models of the brand. Behind the three-spoke relay wheel with small touch panels on its spokes are two 10.25-inch displays – the left one is responsible for rendering the graphics of the virtual instrument panel, and the right one displays navigation, or the MBUX multimedia system menu with voice control function.

A distinctive feature of the crossover can only be called the central rectangular ventilation system ducts, to the left of which there is an electric car start button. By the way, when ordering the package “Electric Art”, the strips of these ducts will be plated with rose gold. Plus, AMG Line packages are available for the exterior and interior of the model.

The presence of the latter on the outside provides for the installation of other bumpers, a differently designed grille, a diffuser in the rear bumper and special wheels, and inside there will be sports seats with leather upholstery, carbon fiber inserts, microfiber floor mats with a steering wheel with a rim truncated at the bottom.
