Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the most powerful and fastest modification of its flagship EQS electric car, developed by AMG specialists. The premiere of the car took place at the Munich Motor Show.
The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC + is equipped with two electric motors that produce 658 hp in standard operation. and 950 Nm of torque. In this case, the car is capable of accelerating from zero to “hundreds” in 3.4 seconds, and its maximum speed is 250 km per hour. For comparison, the engines of the standard top-end version of the EQS develop 524 horsepower. Such a car accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds.
The increased efficiency and dynamics have affected the range: the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC + can travel 107.8 kWh from 526 to 580 kilometers without recharging the batteries. For example, the claimed mileage on a single charge for a regular EQS is 770 kilometers.

The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC + will go on sale in 2022. Prices for the sports electric car will be announced later.
