Lexus has unveiled the new generation LX model, which debuted four months after the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The world premiere of the Japanese brand’s flagship SUV took place in parallel in several cities around the world.

The powertrain lineup of the new LX includes two supercharged six-cylinder engines. The petrol engine is a twin-turbocharged V6 with 415 hp. and peak moments of 650 Nm. Diesel is also a turbocharged V6, but already with a volume of 3.3 liters and a return of 299 hp. and 700 Nm. Both engines are paired with the latest 10-speed automatic.
Inside, the Lexus LX has a new architecture with two displays: a small 7-inch screen and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen display of the new media system. The large monitor also serves as an off-road assistance system, which uses four cameras to help the driver monitor the situation around the vehicle. In addition, the SUV received the Multi-terrain Monitor function, thanks to which the driver can check the road condition right under the car without leaving the passenger compartment.
Lexus LX also received some functions from the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Thus, the engine start button received an option to recognize the driver by fingerprint, which allows you to save the basic settings of the car for each of the users of the car.
