Rental Hyundai in Baku

Hyundai has unveiled a new seven-seater crossover called the Grand Creta, which will be sold in South Africa. The model is a slightly modified version of the Hyundai Alcazar, which debuted in India in the spring of 2021.

The Hyundai Grand Creta is based on a modified version of the K2 modular platform that underpins the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Venue. It differs from the standard model in a wheelbase stretched by 150 mm, which made it possible to install a third row of seats. The clearance of the crossover was 200 millimeters.

Externally, the crossover can be distinguished from other Creta modifications thanks to the original rear doors, a different grille, as well as new bumpers and lights.

The Hyundai Grand Creta engine lineup includes a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine developing 159 hp. and 191 Nm of torque. Alternatively, a 1.5-liter turbodiesel is available, producing 115 hp. and 250 newton meters. Both units can work both with a six-speed manual transmission and with an “automatic” of a similar range. The drive is exclusively on the front wheels.

The standard equipment of the new crossover includes six airbags, LED optics, 17-inch alloy wheels, a multimedia system with an eight-inch touch screen, cruise control, and eco-leather trim.

As an option, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, parking sensors, ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof and 18-inch wheels are available.
