Rental Honda in Baku

The 11th generation Honda Civic hatchback has become similar to the sedan of the same name and has received advanced roadside assistance systems.

Honda has unveiled the new generation Civic hatchback. The production of the car will be set up at the company’s plant in Greensburg (Indiana). At the moment, Honda has shown a version of the car for the United States and Japan, but later a European version of the model will also debut.

The design of the Civic hatchback is not much different from the sedan of the same name, which debuted in April this year. The car received horizontally located LED optics, a double radiator grille and an elongated hood. The luggage compartment is 452 liters.

In the cabin of the five-door, a separate multimedia tablet with a 7.0 or 9.0-inch screen was installed, depending on the configuration. The driver has access to a Bose audio system with 12 speakers, a wireless charging station for a smartphone. In top-end modifications, the car is equipped with a virtual dashboard.

The novelty borrowed the range of motors from the sedan of the same name. The base engine for the car is a 2.0-liter petrol unit with 160 horsepower. As an alternative, they will offer a modified 1.5-liter “turbo four”, the output of which was increased from 176 to 180 horsepower. Both motors work together with a variator, in some versions a six-speed “mechanics” is also available. In Europe, the hatchback will be offered with a hybrid powertrain, details of which are kept secret.

The new Civic is equipped with a complex of Honda Sensing systems based on a front camera and eight sonars, It includes adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, traffic jam assistant and lane control.
