Rental Haval in Baku

Haval has unveiled a new coupe-shaped H6S crossover at the Chengdu Motor Show. The Haval H6S is based on the third-generation H6, and its concept is completely different from the base crossover.

The H6S has a liftback body with a strong sloping rear window. Although the height of the S-model is reduced by 50 millimeters (1680 millimeters) compared to the base H6, the creators of the car refrained from lowering the roof line. As a result, the silhouette of the car looks more like a sedan than a coupe. However, the Chinese have increased the wheelbase of the car from 2738 millimeters to 2800 millimeters. All this increase falls on the second row, which has expanded the space at the back. The length of the crossover also differs from the base model – 4780 millimeters against 4653 millimeters.

At the same time, the Haval H6S model is characterized by a more aggressive design of the front, and the matrix headlights are already included in the standard equipment. The taillights were deprived of the red stripe on the base crossover. The dimensions of the wheels are 19 inches. The interior of the car is the same as the base crossover – the differences are “carbon” trim, bright decor and sports seats.

The coupe crossover will not be offered with a 1.5-liter base engine. The crossover coupe will be equipped with a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 218 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque and a seven-speed “robot”. Transmission – can be front axle or full. In addition, for the first time in the family, the H6S model will be equipped with a L.E.M.O.N DHT hybrid powerplant. This unit is from the Wey brand.

The hybrid unit includes a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and two electric motors (one on each axle). The total output of the power plant is 243 horsepower and 530 Nm. The system can operate in both parallel and sequential modes: at speeds up to 35 km / h, the wheels are driven only by electric motors, and the turbocharged engine runs in generator mode. During subsequent acceleration, the gasoline engine is connected to the drive wheels. Instead of the traditional gearbox, a two-speed gearbox with a robotized transmission is installed – the second gear is connected at 65 km / h. The hybrid crossover accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds.

Sales of the Haval H6S in China will begin immediately after the exhibition. In China, the gasoline-powered crossover will start at $ 21,500, and the hybrid version will start at $ 24,000.

Haval also unveiled the H6 Supreme + crossover, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the H6, at the Chengdu Motor Show. In fact, this version is the most luxurious version of the H6 – the crossover is equipped with a leather interior and a full set of options. In addition, the H6 Supreme + is distinguished by the original bumper and rimless grille. The luxury H6 crossover is offered with 1.5-liter (169 horsepower) and 2.0-liter (218 horsepower) turbocharged engines. The model starts at $ 21,000. Recall that the base crossover is sold at prices starting from $ 18,000.
