The Chinese crossover has received a modernized appearance and an enlarged multimedia display in the cabin.

Geely has released the first images of the updated Binyue crossover, which it sells under the Coolray name. The model received a sportier appearance and a modernized interior as part of the restyling.

The crossover will differ from its predecessor in the X-shaped gray element in the front of the body, new bumpers, a spoiler of complex shape in the upper part of the tailgate, as well as optics with modified graphics.

As for the interior, there will be an enlarged display of the infotainment complex from 10.25 to 12.3 inches. In addition, an atmospheric LED interior lighting system with a choice of 72 colors will be available as an option.

In China, the updated Geely Binyue will be available with 1.4 and 1.5-liter petrol turbo engines with 141 and 177 hp. respectively. The first engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed manual transmission or with a “robot” of the same range, and the more powerful one is combined only with a 7-speed robotic transmission.
