The premium Exeed brand, owned by Chery, introduced its second model – the LX crossover, built on the basis of Chery Tiggo 7. Outside, the novelty is notable for its multi-layered radiator grille and narrow LED headlights, united by a decorative strip with the brand name.
On the side, the Exeed LX 2022 draws attention to itself with a sloping coupe-shaped roof and neat black plastic overlays on the wheel arches, in which stylish 19-inch wheels flaunt. At the stern, an aggressive bumper with eye-catching side stampings, LED lights visually combined with each other and a spoiler above the tailgate are installed.
If on the outside the novelty from Exid in some places resembles the donor Tiggo 7, then the interior of this crossover is completely new. The interior received leather upholstery with decorative woodgrain inserts, while on the front panel there are two 12.3-inch screens. One of them displays instrument readings, and the other is given over to the needs of the multimedia system.
Passengers are offered to manage the climate control settings from a separate sensor unit with two rotating handles (like in Jaguar and Land Rover cars). Plus, the car received a miniature transmission selector.
The new Chery Exeed LX reaches a length of 4,533 mm, while its wheelbase is 2,670 millimeters (width, height and trunk volume have not yet been specified). The car is driven by a 1.6-liter TGDi turbo four with 197 hp. It works in conjunction with a seven-speed robot, transferring traction to the wheels of the front axle.
The list of equipment for the Exid LH 2022 includes a parking lot, adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, a marking tracking system, etc. The start of sales of the model is scheduled for the twenty-second year.
