The premium sub-brand Citroen DS introduced an updated flagship crossover. After restyling, the model lost the Crossback prefix in the name and is now simply called 7. In Europe, the model will be offered with a turbodiesel, three petrol engines and a similar number of hybrid powertrains. The production of “SUV” will be established at the brand’s factory in Mulhouse, France.

The driver has access to a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, adaptive cruise control with night vision, active lane control and driver status monitoring. In addition, the model has acquired an active suspension that can independently adjust to road conditions. It relies on information from the front camera.
The engine range of the model will include PureTech gasoline engines with a capacity of 130, 215 or 225 hp. with., or a diesel supercharged unit with a return of 130 forces.
In addition, buyers will be able to choose a car with a hybrid power plant. The manufacturer presented three such versions, and each of them can be recharged from a power outlet.
The base E-Tense 225 front-wheel drive setup includes a 180-horsepower turbocharged engine and a 110-horsepower electric motor. The top options will be the E-Tense 4×4 300 and E-Tense 360, where the index indicates the return of the units. All hybrids are equipped with a battery with a capacity of 14.2 kWh, on a single charge of which they are able to travel from 65 to 81 km.
