The crossover, which is sold in the Azerbaijani market under the name Tiggo 7 Pro, has undergone restyling and will go on sale this fall.
Chery unveiled the updated Tiggo 7 Plus crossover at the Chengdu Auto Show. This model is sold in Azerbaijan under the name Tiggo 7 Pro. According to Autohome, sales of the car should start this fall. Crossover prices will be announced later.
The restyled car received a new radiator grill, different air intakes, new bumpers and slightly modified optics. The interior of the Tiggo 7 Plus features a new combination of virtual instruments and a multimedia touchscreen display, combined into a continuous long screen.
The novelty was equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 147 hp, which works in conjunction with a 48-volt starter-generator. This version of the car was equipped with a variator. Also offered is a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine with 197 horsepower. Such an engine is paired with a seven-speed robot. Front-wheel drive only.
Tiggo 7 Pro is on sale in Azerbaijan since September 2020. The model has an independent McPherson suspension at the front and a multi-link at the rear. The crossover clearance is 190 mm, and the entry and exit angles are 20 and 21 degrees, respectively. The luggage compartment has a volume of 475 liters, and with the rear row of seats folded down, the usable space increases to 1,500 liters.
