The French brand Alpine has unveiled a special version of the A110 S coupe, in the development of which Felipe Pantone took part.
French brand Alpine, part of Renault, has presented a special version of the sports coupe A110 S. The novelty was developed with the participation of the famous Argentine street artist Felipe Pantone.
A total of four cars were produced, each of which was hand-painted by Pantone. The cars are covered with contrasting white, red and blue graphics, which visually follow the contours of the car body.
As noted by Alpine, the pattern has been designed to give the impression of high speed, even when the car is stationary. The sports car registration process took several weeks. Since the drawing was applied by hand, each car is unique.
The technical component has not been changed. The Alpine A110 S is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder supercharged unit that develops 292 hp. and 320 Nm of torque. The engine works with a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches. The sports car is capable of gaining the first “hundred” in 4.4 seconds, and the maximum speed is 260 km per hour.
A total of four cars were produced with the design of Felipe Pantone, three of which were put up for sale. The cost of each of them was 125 thousand euros.
